BuzzMine is free while in beta and comes as-is. Use it fairly, follow Facebook's own rules, and use your exported data responsibly. That's the whole spirit of these terms.
What BuzzMine is
BuzzMine is a Chrome extension and website run by an independent developer. The extension captures Facebook posts as you scroll, ranks them by engagement, and exports your captures as files. BuzzMine is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Facebook or Meta.
Free while in beta
BuzzMine is free during its beta period. If paid plans are ever introduced, they will be announced in advance, and anything you already have will keep working under the terms you got it on. No surprise charges - ever.
Your responsibilities
- You use BuzzMine with your own Facebook account and your own browser. Your Facebook account stays subject to Facebook's own terms - BuzzMine doesn't change what Facebook allows.
- Data you export (lead lists, CSVs, AI packs) is yours to use responsibly. You are responsible for following the laws that apply to you - including anti-spam and privacy laws - when you contact people from exported lists.
- Don't resell BuzzMine, claim you built it, or use it to break into, scrape at scale, or abuse Facebook or anyone else.
Provided as-is
BuzzMine is beta software. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Facebook changes its pages often and without warning; when that happens, parts of the extension may temporarily stop working until an update ships. We'll do our best, but we can't promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Changes and discontinuation
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue BuzzMine (or any part of it) at any time. Because your captured data lives in your own browser, it stays with you no matter what happens on our side.
Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, BuzzMine and its developer are not liable for indirect or consequential losses - things like lost profits, lost data, or account actions taken by Facebook - arising from using or being unable to use the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Your privacy
How BuzzMine handles data is covered in the Privacy Policy. Short version: everything stays in your browser.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date above. Continuing to use BuzzMine after a change means you accept the new terms.
